Tom Shallowhorne

Tom Shallowhorne has been serving for several years now as the Sheriff of Plymouth City.  In that time, he has kept his promise to Otis Smith and has never carried a gun.  A while after marrying Maria, they have a son - Thomas Shallowhorne, Jr.

After the famous Battle of Box Canyon, the Supreme Court on Yewess confined Shallowhorne for life on Endia as punishment for his crimes against the Yewess Government.  If he were to break this mandate, the results would be a stiffer sentence, possibly banishment to the penal moon of DeNunder.  Now, he faces a serious decision: Does he leave the planet to rescue his loved ones - who've gone missing when their starship disappears - or does he obey the ruling of the Supreme Court?
