Vicor Hawthorne and Nathaniel Pilchard

Tom Shallowhorne foiled Victor Hawthorne's attempts to take over Endia - and get at its rich reserves of Iathiam ore.  So, Hawthorne patiently waited for his next convenient opportunity.  Fortunately for him, his clandestine methods and subterfuge have allowed him to be viewed publicly as a philanthropic benefactor for the people of Endia, and this has put him into the best position to make his next move.

Assisting him in his efforts is a group of trusted aides.  These five men not only serve as spokesmen and representatives of Hawthorne and his company - Hawthorne Industries - but they also serve as financial advisors.  In addition, it has been rumored that these men serve a body guards, each apparently being trained in self-defense and use of conceled weapons that they keep on their person.  Hawthorne's chief spokesman is the eloquent and respected Nathaniel Pilchard.
